Wawasee SportsSYRACUSE – It was an emotional night for the Plymouth girls soccer team as the players mourned the loss of their friend and classmate David Bacon. The girls began the game with a tribute to Bacon by releasing red and white balloons and ended the night with a 4-0 victory.

Plymouth jumped to a 2-0 lead and never looked back.

“We were not ready to play at the start,” stated Wawasee head coach Doug Heinisch. “We played hard but did not have the ball control we needed.”

The JV team fell 4-1. Haley Smarr picked up the goal for the JV team off an assist from Sarah Pritchard.
