WorkOne is collaborating with local non-profit organizations to sponsor a hiring event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. July 18 at the Martin Luther King, Jr. Center, 1522 Linden St., South Bend.

Multiple positions are available from industries including manufacturing, logistics, distribution and warehousing, construction, banking and marketing and retail.

The event is expected to be competitive, so job seekers are encouraged to bring an updated resume, dress appropriately and be prepared for an interview. WorkOne encourages applicants to remember the “5-P Mantra for Action” when searching for jobs: “Proper preparation prevents poor performance.”
