PIERCETON — Brenspeed Indiana, 8088 E CR 400N Pierceton, will host an open house party from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 26. The community is invited to this event., which will include free food, prizes, live music and big horsepower.

Among the day’s activities will be a horsepower dyno shootout from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The cost is $50 to get on the dyno and participants leave with graphs of horsepower and torque.

The top horsepower Ford, GM, Mopar and non-V8 will all get a trophy for bragging rights. The Sleepy Owl Beer tent will be up and running around 11 a.m. and Jewel will grill free lunch for everybody.

The band, Pick Slide, will perform from 2-6 p.m. Cars will be on display, along with vehicles from Roush Performance and Edelbrock. Brenspeed is also releasing its new lineup of clothing and hats.

This year’s 50/50 drawing is at 4 p.m. Prizes range from a new set of 20-inch tires from Roush Performance, cash or other cool prizes. Drawings continue until all the prizes are gone.

The open house is free to watch and hang out and for those who want in on the dyno, there is no need to pre-register.
