The Tippecanoe Valley volleyball team collected a win over LaVille Tuesday night.

Abby Betten racked up 18 kills on the evening as the Vikings topped the Lancers 25-18, 25-16, 22-25, 25-15.

Olivia Trippiedi led the defense for Valley with eight digs. Lexi O’Connell had 1.5 blocks and Shayleigh Shriver five aces. Maddy Henninger had 14 assists.

The Valley junior varsity team also topped LaVille.

The Vikings are now 12-5 on the season.

Golfers Fall To Glenn

The Valley girls golf team lost a 203-236 final to John Glenn Tuesday night.

Glenn’s Anna Schmeltz earned medalist honors with a 45 in the match played at the Round Barn Golf Course in Rochester.

Victoria Biddle posted the low score for the Vikings with a 51.

Lexi Cumberland came in with a 58 and Liz VanMeter a 63. Makayla Sanbakken shot a 64, while Jordan Krotke had a 67 and Jade VanMeter an 82 for the Vikings.

Valley, now 8-12, will face Culver Academies and Rochester on Thursday at the Culver Academy Golf Course.
