NAPPANEE – The NorthWood girls golf team continued its roll Monday evening.

Summer Stillson led the way as the No. 19 Panthers tied the program record by shooting 161 to defeat Fairfield.

Stillson earned medalist honors with a 38 in the match played at McCormick Creek. The Panthers also shot a 161 last week in a win over Mishawaka at Eberhart-Petro in Mishawaka.

The undefeated Panthers, now 10-0, were coming off winning the Northern Lakes Conference Tournament title on Saturday.

Linnzie Richner finished with a 39 for coach Adam Yoder’s squad in the win. Mackenzie Weaver shot a 41, Abby Slabaugh 43 and Madison Richner 47 for the Panthers.

Regina Raber had a 43 and Makayla Bontrager 44 for Fairfield, which did not have a complete team.

Alaina Benjamin of NorthWood was the junior varsity medalist with a 9.

NorthWood will face host LaPorte and Penn Wednesday at Beechwood.
