JV Football Falls At Concord

Concord escaped with a 14-13 win over Wawasee’s JV in Dunlap.

Dalton Pearish led the Warrior D with 11 tackles. Will Geer rushed for 37 yards. Cayden Wegener had 109 yards and score for Wawasee.

The Warriors are now 1-3 overall and 0-2 in conference play. They will host NorthWood next week.

Girls Soccer Drops Game

Culver Academy came in and downed the Lady Warriors 5-0 at Warrior Field.

“We let down after the first goal,” said head coach Doug Heinisch. “CMA quickly added two more. We have to do better at digging in at moments like that.”

Wawasee (3-5-1) will host Fort Wayne Concordia on Monday.

The JV team fell 3-0.

Elkhart Memorial Downs Wawasee On Pitch

Wawasee fell 2-0 to Elkhart Memorial in boys soccer action Saturday afternoon.

The Warriors are now 1-7-1 and 0-3 in NLC play.
