WARSAW – The outstanding Warsaw girls cross country team checks in at No. 4 in this week’s statewide coaches’ poll.

Coach Scott Erba’s team remained undefeated on the season Tuesday night with a win over Northern Lakes Conference and county rival Wawasee.

The Tigers, who returned all seven runners this season from the team that placed 16th at the State Finals a year ago, are 3-0 in the NLC. Warsaw returns to action versus NLC foes Concord and Plymouth at Plymouth on Sept. 15.

Northridge is ranked No. 16 this week and Penn is at No. 17.

Carmel once again tops the coaches top 25 poll for this week.
