SYRACUSE — While signs noting the road is closed ahead were still in place around 2 p.m. today Friday, Sept. 4, the railroad crossing on SR 13/Huntington Street in Syracuse is now open.

The tracks were closed on Aug. 24 to improve the driving surface for motorists. The anticipated completion date wasn’t until Monday, Sept. 14.
