Rudy’s Dog Park Hosts Dash For The dogs

WARSAW — Rudy’s Dog Park is hosting its third annual Dash for the Dogs event, a 5K run/walk, set for Saturday, Sept. 19. Participants are welcomed and encouraged to bring their dog to run or walk too, but it is not required to participate. There will also be vendors on hand and a police dog demonstration. Children can run the agility obstacles, where they can compete by age group for the fastest time. 103.5 FM will broadcast live from the Dash for the Dogs run/walk.

Dash for the Dogs will begin and end at Rudy’s Dog Park, starting at 9:30 a.m., with a cost of $20 for individuals pre-registering and $25 the day of the event. Registration will be on-site Saturday starting at 8:15 a.m. More information about Dash for the Dogs, as well as pre-registration, is available on the Rudy’s Dog Park website.

The Dash for the Dogs is sponsored by Lake City Animal Clinic, Hall and Marose Silveus, Grossnickle Eye Center and Paragon Medical.

Rudy’s Dog Park is a not-for-profit organization that was organized and founded to build and operate a dog park serving Warsaw and the surrounding Kosciusko County community. It is open from dawn to dusk every day for members. Membership applications are available online.
