Evelyn Rice, 87, Wawaka, passed away on Saturday, June 20, 2020, at her home.

She was born on May 20, 1933, the daughter of Meryl and Bessie (Klepper) Crouse in Newville. On Dec. 23, 1955, she married Robert G. Rice; he preceded her in death on Sept. 5, 2014.

Evelyn enjoyed life, good food, and loved flowers.

She is survived by a son, Charles Rice of Wawaka; daughter, Cindy (Tim) Conrad of Wawaka; grandchildren, April (Michael) Shaffer of Pleasant Lake; and James (Kait) Conrad of Fort Wayne IN; and great-grandchildren, Kaylob, Shayla, Antony, and Sawyer.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, siblings, and son; Steve Rice.
