Carol Jean Geier, 70, passed away peacefully at home in Sun City, Arizona on May 28, 2019.

Carol was born to George and Emma (Gosse) Soucek Sr. on Feb. 22, 1949, in Chicago, Ill. She graduated from Elgin High School, Elgin, Ill. Carol worked many years at the All State Insurance Company home office in Northbrook, Ill. in the computer department.

Carol is survived by her husband, Robert Geier, Sun City, Ariz., two daughters, Audra Schuetz, Skokie, Ill., Amber Garland, Daytona Beach, Fla., step-daughter, Lynette Anderson, step-sons, Eric Geier and Scott Geier, two special grandsons, Kevin Schuetz of the U.S. Army and Daniel Schuetz of the U.S. Navy, five step-grandchildren, brother, George Soucek.

The inurnment will begin with a procession forming at 10:30 a.m. Friday July 10, at Zimmerman Bros. Funeral Home, 1101 Jefferson Street, Rochester, and preceding at 10:45 a.m. to Odd Fellows Cemetery, 620 W. 3rd Street, Rochester, for an 11 a.m. graveside service.
