Mary Ellen White, 99, Winamac, and formerly of Rochester, passed away at 1 p.m. Monday July 6, 2020, at Hickory Creek of Winamac where she resided for the past six years.

She was born on June 25, 1921, in Peru, the daughter of Alfred and Hilda (Radamaker) Fries. In 1959, she married Edward A. White. He preceded her in death on April 18, 2010. She graduated from Peru High School and attended Indiana University.

Survivors include her daughter, Ann (John) Gray, LaPorte, son, Ed (Adrienne) White, Baton Rouge, Louisiana, five grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday July 9, at Mount Hope Cemetery, Peru.
