NORTH WEBSTER – In the darkness of a lost friend, a little league team in Syracuse chose to shine a light.

The Astros major baseball team in the Wawasee Summer League donned a special message on its uniforms Monday, standing #KryderStrong in honor of teammate Zack Kryder’s father, Andy, who passed away Thursday.

The Astros and Phillies both stood for a moment of silence in honor of Andy Kryder ahead of its game in North Webster.
