FORT WAYNE – On Saturday, Aug. 1, 2020, at 9 a.m., Northeast Indiana Base Community Council (NIBCC) will host its sixth Annual Race for the Warrior 5k/10k run/walk/roll runway race at the Fort Wayne International Airport. 

The event will be held observing the CDC and State of Indiana guidelines.

This event is the Northeast Indiana Base Community Council’s main fundraiser of the year, with proceeds benefiting the Military Support Fund, a program that awards grants to military families experiencing financial emergencies.   

Because of the recent pandemic and corresponding hardships, the necessity for this fundraiser has never been greater.  Northeast Indiana Base Community Council wants to continue to aid in the front lines while the need remains high but to do this we need your help in replenishing the Military Support Fund.  With your assistance, we can continue to help local military families by providing emergency financial grants when they face an emergency.
