Mary Ann Wilson, 68, of Akron, died at 1:17 a.m., Friday, June 19, 2020, at her residence after being seriously ill for 2 weeks.

She was born on April 14, 1952, in Rochester to the late Alvin and Pauline (Swihart) Ruff. She married 20 years ago to Monte L. Wilson, who survives.

She retired from Lau Industries of Rochester in 2017. She had attended and was baptized at the Athens Community Church. Mary enjoyed embroidering and sewing.

Survivors include her husband, Monte Wilson, of Akron; a son, Rex Wilhite, of Kansas; seven grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; three sisters, Barbara Ervin, Ligonier, Wanda (and husband Hugh O’Donnell), Akron and Donna (and husband Brad Wilson), Macy and a sister-in-law, Yvonne (and husband Harold Lent), Sidney.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alvin and Pauline (Swihart) Ruff; a daughter, Teresa Alderfer; a grandson, Gage Becker, and a brother-in-law, Tom Ervin.

Following her request, no visitation or services will be held at this time.
