Patricia Martin, 87, Kokomo, formerly of Nappanee, IN died at 1:19 p.m., Saturday, June 13, 2020, at Century Villa in Greentown.  She was born Oct. 17, 1932, in Nappanee to George Dewey and Ruby Martin.

Miss Martin was a 1950 graduate of Nappanee High School. She moved to Kokomo in 1960. Patricia had retired from Public Service in Kokomo. She was a lover of all animals and enjoyed sending cards to her nieces and nephews every year on their birthdays.

Patricia is survived by her daughter, Loree Roberts-Hudson, West Terre Haute; two granddaughters, Emilee Roberts, Terre Haute; Britanee (Michael) Stivers, West Terre Haute; three great grandchildren, Andrew, Cambree , and Brayden Stivers ; sisters, Rosemary Cain, Sue Hinton, both of Nappanee; many nieces and nephews; and a very dear special friend since grade school, Margie  Gallay, South Bend. Special love and appreciation for Christy for her love and continued friendship and emotional support, she became our family and lifelong friend.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Marjorie Jensen; and brother, James Martin.

According to her wishes cremation will take place and private graveside services will take place at Stony Point Cemetery.

Special thanks, appreciation and love for their excellent care from Elara Caring, Century Villa nurses and support staff and Home Instead caregivers and office staff. You were all sent to us as Angels on Earth.

Memorial contributions may be given to a local animal shelter of the donor’s choice.
