
Stanley “Stan” Gagen, 70, Warsaw, passed away on Tuesday, May 19, 2020 at 7:54 p.m. in Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne. Stan was born Aug. 6, 1949, in Southbridge, Mass. to John and Mary (Yesket) Gagen.
Stan was raised in Cherry Valley, Massachusetts. In 2014 he moved to Northwood, Ohio and then onto Warsaw. He proudly served his country in the US Air Force. Stan worked as a machinist for many companies. He was a member of the American Legion Pierceton Post #258 and VFW Post #1126. He was a participant in the American Legion Honor Guard in Massachusetts.
Stanley is survived by daughter, Cheryl Gagen of Nashua, N.H.; granddaughter, Caitlyn Burns of Nashua, N.H.; brothers, John Gagen of Warsaw; Richard (Pamela) Gagen of Northwood, Ohio; nieces, Lori Mummert of Amboy; Sarah Donley of Tecumseh, Mich.; nephews, Keith Gagen of Northwood, Ohio; Jeremy Gagen of Oregon, Ohio; three great nephews and three great nieces also survive.
A visitation will be held from 10 a.m.-noon on Friday, May 29, at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. At noon, Military Honors will be provided by The American Legion Pierceton Post# 258 and VFW Post #1126 at the funeral chapel. Burial will be private.
