Kyle Lee Smith, 30, Kokomo, passed away at 5:50 p.m. May 1, 2020, unexpectedly at his residence.

On March 5, 1990, in South Bend, he was born to Matthew R. Smith Sr. and Christy l. (Stanley) Fisher. He had lived in Kokomo the past 10 years.

He worked as a kitchen supervisor at the Indiana Correction Facility in Peru.

He is survived by his father: Matt R. (Stacy) Smith, Argos; mother: Christy L. Fisher, Ocala, Fla.; his girlfriend: Brooke Bailey, Kokomo; a daughter: Addy; brothers: Brandon Beauchamp, Plymouth; Matthew R. Smith Jr., Argos; and Parker K. Smith, Argos; sisters: Meagan Jagnecki, Plymouth; Monica Crace, Argos; and Izabelle Hayn, Argos; paternal grandparents: Richard and Kennetta Smith, Argos; maternal grandmother: Sharon Brickey, Famersburg; and maternal grandfather: Fred Brickey, Sullivan.

He is preceded in death by a sister: Breanne Lynn Abbott.

Private graveside services will be held at the Maple Grove Cemetery, Argos.
