Lance Shepherd, 43, Syracuse, died at 12:10 a.m. Monday, March 30, 2020, at Goshen Hospital.

He was born Feb. 14, 1977, in Elkhart, to Troy Shepherd & Susan (Chaney) Hoogenboom. On Nov. 6, 2002, he married Jamie (Ritchie) Shepherd.

Surviving are his wife: Jamie, Syracuse; children: Mikayla Shepherd and Brianna Shepherd; step-daughter: Alexandria Bigler; his mother: Susan (Roger) Hoogenboom, Elkhart; and a brother: Michael (Jacque) Shepherd, Granger.

Preceding him in death is his father: Troy.

He was a plant manager for Lippert Components. He enjoyed hunting, spending time on the lake and with his family.

Private family services will be held.
