SOUTH BEND — Downtown South Bend has announced that several St. Patrick’s Day events are canceled, following the announcement of St. Joseph County’s first case of coronavirus.

According to a Facebook post by Downtown South Bend, the canceled events include the Paddy Party & Pub Tour as well as the St. Patrick’s Day Parade.

According to the post, “Downtown South Bend and the St. Joseph County Department of Health will be issuing a joint formal public statement tomorrow.”
