Edna Farmwald, 85, Bremen, passed away at 6:41 p.m., Saturday, March 7, 2020, at Signature Healthcare, Bremen. 

She was born Nov. 24, 1934 to Albert and Anna (Miller) Helmuth in Arthur, Ill.  On March 13, 1958, she married Leroy Farmwald.  He preceded her in death Jan. 21, 2018. They lived in holy matrimony 59 years 10 months 8 days.

Mrs. Farmwald was a homemaker and a member of the Old Order Amish Church

Surviving are her daughters, Naomi (Jerry) Miller, Rib Lake, Wisc.; Dorothy (Leon) Miller, Bremen; sons, Merle (Anna) Farmwald, Nappanee; Lloyd (Karen) Farmwald, Tulsa, Okla.; 28 grandchildren; 54 great grandchildren; brothers, Orie (Fannie) Helmuth, Statesville, N.C.; Levi (Eunice) Helmuth, Gulfport, Miss.; sisters, Viola (John) Jess, Arthur, Ill.; Emma (Roy) Corona, Gulfport, Miss.; sister-in-laws, Fannie Mae Helmuth, Arthur, Ill.; Polly Farmwald, Topeka; Katherine Farmwald, Warsaw; Martha Farmwald, Wakarusa; Rachel (Harvey) Miller, Florida; and brother-in-law, Owen Farmwald, Monticello, Ky. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Jacob Helmuth; sisters, Mattie Yoder, Martha Helmuth; brother-in-laws, Ralph Yoder, Melvin Farmwald; and sister-in-laws, Anna Mae Farmwald and Vesta Farmwald..

Family and friends may call after 2 p.m., Monday, March 9, and all day Tuesday, March 10, at the Leon Miller residence, 11366 N 1100 W, Bremen. Funeral Services will be at 9:30 a.m., Wednesday, March 11, also at the Miller residence. Home Ministry of the Old Order Amish Church will officiate and burial will be in Cedar Road Amish Cemetery.
