Johnny Calhoun, 86, passed away peacefully on March 5, 2020, at Miller’s Merry Manor, Plymouth.

He was born on Jan. 10, 1934, to Lowell and Rose Calhoun in Rochester. After graduating from Culver High School, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, where he proudly served in the Korean War. While stationed in Okinawa, Japan, he met the love of his life, Fumiko Calhoun (Watlaie), who survives. They shared 62 wonderful years.

He worked in manufacturing, making bathtubs before he retired.

Per the wishes of the family, burial will take place in the New Oak Hill Cemetery at a later date.
