G. Jean Bradway, 96, of the rural Atwood area, died peacefully at 6:55 a.m. Monday, March 2, 2020, at Englewood Health and Rehabilitation Center in Fort Wayne.
She was born June 25, 1923, in Scott Township to George and Delia (Roberts) Beach.
Jean was a graduate of Atwood High School, married Carl “Chick” Bradway, and was a lifetime area resident.
Surviving are a daughter, Dixie (Jim) Breading of Warsaw; a son, Tom (Sheri) Bradway of Nappanee; six grandchildren, and six great grandchildren, all of whom feel they were blessed to have had her as a mother and grandmother. A sister Avis (Ted) Kerlin of Silver Lake, also survives.
Jean was preceded in death by her parents; husband, “Chick” Bradway; grandson, Rod Bradway; granddaughter Dee Ann Breading and sister Peg Shively.
Friends may call at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee from 3-5 p.m., Thursday, March, 5. Graveside services will follow at Stony Point Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be given to Stony Point Cemetery.
