Nancy L. Krygowski, Paddock Springs Senior Living in Warsaw, passed away at 3:35 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 27, 2020, at Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw, at the age of 83.

She was born on Oct. 11, 1936, in Orland Park, Ill., to Bessie (Rice) and Lawrence Uthe. On Oct. 8, 1955, she was married in Posen, Ill., to Richard J. Krygowski. They shared 50 years of marriage together before he passed away on July 14, 2006.

She had lived in Illinois for many years and was a school bus driver in Chicago. She moved to the Warsaw area in 1983 and was a familiar face in many places.  She worked for many years as a clerk at the Warsaw License Branch and also worked at Kosciusko Community Hospital. Never one to shy away from hard work, she also enjoyed her time off loving on her family. She enjoyed family get togethers where she was able to cook for everyone and was always putting her talents to use making crafts to gift to her family. She kept busy enjoying Chicago Bears football, the Blackhawks, and she loved NASCAR, especially Dale Jarrett. Most of all she was dearly loved by her family just as much as she loved them and will be forever missed.

She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter: Linda (Brett) Wolff, Danville, Calif.; three sons: Alan (Laurie) Krygowski, Midlothian, Ill.; Larry (Roberta) Krygowski, Warsaw; Richard (Lorie) Krygowski II, Warsaw; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers, and her grandson: Jason Richard Krygowski.

No visitation or services are planned. Arrangements were entrusted to Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw.
