PIERCETON — Pets of the Week are available for adoption at the Animal Welfare League at 1048 S. CR 325E, Pierceton.
Tom
When Big Tom is not writing Irish country songs, he greets AWL guests with a shake of his massive yet gentle paws. Tom is a three-year-old, neutered, male Domestic Short Hair mix. His bright yellow-green eyes glow against his dark tiger-striped coat. Tom is a big boy, weighing in at a whopping 14 pounds. He has a big heart to match and loves getting head scratches and cuddles. He can be a little shy at times and would do best in a home with other cats and older children, not dogs. Come meet Big Tom today.
Tom’s adoption fee is $70.
Carmela
Carmela got her name from her caramel-colored eyes and her personality is just as sweet. Carmela is a nine-year-old, spayed, female American Staffordshire Terrier mix. She has a white coat with tan patches and she weighs 72 pounds. Carmela likes to think that she is the long-lost fifth “Golden Girl” as her age has never slowed her down. She is spunky, fun-loving and enjoys the company of all types of people as well as pets. She is very well-mannered, knowing to walk gently on a leash and to not jump on anyone. Carmela is looking for a loving family she can spend her retirement with and share new adventures. Come visit Carmela today!
Carmela’s adoption fee is $105.
