WARSAW — A Columbia City man was recently arrested after threatening people with weapons at Rex’s Rendezvous in Warsaw.

Tyler Lee Neely, 26, 321 Wallace Ave., Columbia City, is charged with intimidation with a deadly weapon, a level 5 felony; criminal recklessness, a level 6 felony; pointing a firearm and carrying a handgun without a license, both class A misdemeanors; and public intoxication, a class B misdemeanor.

On Jan. 18, a  Warsaw Police were called to a report of intimidation and public intoxication at Rex’s Rendezvous in Warsaw. According to court documents, Neely was escorted from the business after swinging around a knife and causing other incidents inside the bar. A woman said Neely held a gun to her head and threatened to shoot a man at the business.

An employee at Rex’s told an officer there had been a verbal altercation inside the bar between Neely and another man. The employee took a knife away from Neely after Neely threatened to stab him. The employee also said Neely pointed a firearm at several people.

Neely was given a PBT and the result was 0.13%.

Neely was booked in the Kosciusko County Jail on Jan. 18, with a $10,250 surety and cash bond.
