Stroller Recall On Models That May Pose Falling Hazard
SOUTH BEND — A recall is underway for several baby strollers sold at Target and on Amazon.
The company “Baby Trend” is pulling four models of mini-strollers from its Tango line.
The Consumer Product Safety Commission says the strollers’ hinge joints can release and collapse under pressure, which poses a falling hazard to children.
Baby Trend says that although they have not received any reports of injuries, people should immediately stop using the strollers.
If you have a Tango mini stroller, you can call the company at 800-328-7363, or email them or for a full refund or replacement.
For more information on the recall, go to the Baby Trend websiteand click “safety notices” at the bottom of the page under “support.”
According to the Baby Trend website, the affected models are easily identifiable according to the model number on the label, which can be found inside of one of the rear legs of the stroller.
