WINONA LAKE – Freshman Isaac Beatty was named the Crossroads League Track Athlete of the Week on Monday for Grace’s track and field team.

Beatty won two events over the weekend at the IWU Invitational. He won the 1,000-meter race with a time of 2:38.35.

He teamed up with Luke Smith, Dimitri Margaritidis and Kyle Smith to win the 4×800 relay with a time of 7:57.37. The time was fast enough to hit the NAIA “A” qualifying standard.

The Lancers are in Illinois on Friday at the Snow Day Invitational, held at North Central College.
