Dennis Marvin Renschler, 67, of South Whitley died at 9:09 p.m., Jan. 16, 2020 at Parkview Regional Hospital, Fort Wayne.

He was born Nov. 28, 1952 in Columbia City, Indiana, a son of the late Howard M. and Helen M. (Wright) Renschler. He attended South Whitley Elementary and graduated from South Whitley High School in 1971.

For many years he worked for Dwyer Instruments, South Whitley. More recently he had worked for Shindigz, South Whitley.

He is survived by a brother, Michael (Linda) Renschler, Fort Wayne; a sister, Deborah (David) Wiehe, South Whitley; two nieces; three nephews and his beloved cat, Caleb.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Renschler.

A visitation will take place on Tuesday, Jan. 21, from 4 – 8 p.m. at Smith & Sons Miller Chapel, South Whitley. A private burial is at the South Whitley cemetery.
