Warsaw

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department responded to the following accident:

5:29 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 14, 702 South Buffalo Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Raeann E. McCarthy, 20, West Van Buren Street, Leesburg; and Kimber M. Boyd, 31, Clear Creek Trail, North Manchester. McCarthy was backing her vehicle out of a parking space in the Lassus Handy Dandy parking lot when her vehicle struck the rear passenger door of Boyd’s vehicle as it passed behind her vehicle. Damages up to $2,500.

Fulton County

Officers with the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office responded to the following accidents:

12:19 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 12, SR 14, west of CR 500E. Drivers: Sean B. Price, 50, Fort Wayne; and Jason D. Smith, 40, Akron. Price’s vehicle collided with Smith’s vehicle.

2:20 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 11, CR 700N and CR 250W. Driver: Candy C. Salyer, 25, Rochester. Hit deer.

Elkhart County

Officers with the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Office responded to the following accident:

4:44 a.m. Monday, Jan. 13, SR 119 at CR 15. Drivers: Kaylene Fink, 63, Nappanee; and Sherrie Miller, 59, Goshen. Fink complained of left shoulder pain and was taken to Goshen Hospital. Miller complained of head and chest pain. She was treated at the scene and released. Fink entered the intersection in front of Miller’s vehicle causing the collision. Fink’s vehicle then went off the road and hit a utility pole.
