Charles A. Seitner, 49, of Silver Lake, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2019, after a brief battle with cancer. Charles was born March 7, 1970, in Warsaw to Charles D. and Nancy J. (Bigelow) Seitner.

Charles was a fun-loving, funny guy with a great sense of humor; always having a story to tell. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and hanging out with family and friends. He enjoyed sharing his talents and teaching the kids different things, two of which were when he taught Aidan how to drive a boat and Maddysin how to use nunchucks.

He is survived by his life partner, Debra Howard, of Silver Lake, her children Amber Schnepp, of Silver Lake, Stacey Stevens, of Wabash, Heather Poe, of North Manchester, Adam Schnepp, of North Manchester, and seven grandchildren, Adian Poe, Maegan Poe, Maddysin Poe, Serena Clark, Chelsie Clark, Westyn Stevens and Aryia Stevens. Also surviving are his siblings, Melissa (partner Patrick Robinson) Seitner, of Warsaw, Mark (wife Bobie) Seitner, of Warsaw, and several nieces and nephews, Amanda Brown, Koria Ellenwood, Sadra Long, Aris Long, Britani Ogan, Joshua Seitner, Brandon Seitner, Brogan Long and Kody Ogan.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, David Matthew Seitner.

To keep with his wishes, cremation will take place with a celebration of his life to be held at a later date.

Memorial donations may be given to the family to help with expenses in care of Heritage Funeral and Cremation Services.
