WARSAW — Edgewood Middle School’s annual food drive ended Monday, Dec. 16.

Edgewood Elves busied themselves distributing food boxes to many Edgewood families, as well as to families in other Warsaw schools. Additionally, a donation of $500 to both Our Father’s House and to Combined Community Services will help families in the community.

Students, staff and families helped by shopping and soliciting donations at Owens, selling Hacienda gift cards, eating at Hacienda on Edgewood’s special night, sending in foods and paper products, and sorting, transporting and moving all donations around in the school.

Edgewood collected 18,796 items and will support over 50 families for an entire two-week period.

Organizers would like to thank everyone who took part in the food drive.
