Warsaw Library Announces January Adult, Teen Programs

The following programs are set to take place in January at the Warsaw Community Public Library:

The Winter Reading program starts Jan. 6 and continues through Feb. 29. Read books, log pages, and win prizes.

WorkOne computer and résumé/interviewing classes will take place throughout the month. Contact the library for details.

Stranger Things Escape Room will take place on every hour from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Jan. 2 and 3. Ages 10+. Please register.

Chess Club meets from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Saturday.

Cookbook Club meets at 11 a.m. on Jan. 6 for “Brinner- Dinner for Breakfast” recipes.

Friends of the Library monthly meeting is at 1 p.m. Jan. 6.

Learn how to write your own obituary and pre-plan your funeral at 6 p.m. Jan. 7. Please register.

A Census Job Fair with Larry Krueger will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Jan. 8 and Jan. 22.

Tutor Tech meets from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Jan. 8, and 4 to 5:30 p.m. Jan. 29. Bring your electronics for assistance.

Chair Yoga will be at 11 a.m. Jan. 9.

Chapter Chat Book Club meets at 1 p.m. Jan. 9  to discuss “Watership Down” by Richard Adams.

Quilt Club meets at 9:15 a.m. Jan. 10.

Creative Writing Club meets at 6:30 p.m. on Jan.13. Topics include new beginnings, snow and resolutions, and MLK.

Learn more about dementia and Alzheimer’s at noon on Jan.14. This program is presented by Jennifer Hoover. Please register.

Craft a wool felted bunny with Karen McPeak from Midnight Rose Wool Felted Sculptures at 10:30 a.m. Jan.18. $20 is due at registration prior to the event.

Learn the facts and stats on vaping and e-cigarettes at 5:30 p.m. Jan. 21. This program is presented by Heidi Blake. Please register.

Make a salt and pepper shaker snowman at Make It and Take It Crafts at 3 p.m. Jan. 23. Please register.

Bingo at the Library will be from 2 to 3 p.m. Jan. 24.

“Soups On!” with Sue Delagrange will take place at 1 p.m. Jan. 27. Please register.

The “How to Get Started with Genealogy and Researching Your Family” program will be at 6 p.m. Jan. 27. Please register.

An Indiana CBD update will be at 1 p.m. Jan. 28. Please register.

The program “How to Publish Your Book” will be at 6 p.m. Jan. 28. Please register.

Teen Minecraft will be from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Jan. 28.

Sew a pillowcase at 1 p.m. Jan. 30. Please register.
