Kosciusko County
Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accidents:
1:14 a.m. Friday, Dec. 20, North SR 13, north of East CR 400N, North Webster. Driver: Erick M. Sawyer, 26, Eagle Street, Warsaw. Sawyer was traveling on North SR 13 when a deer entered the roadway. Damage up to $1,000.
8:26 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 19, North SR 13, north of North Syracuse Webster Road, North Webster. Driver: Emmerson Clevenger, 20, East Kiser Lake Drive, North Webster. Clevenger was traveling north on SR 13 when a deer entered the roadway. Damage up to $2,500.
6:24 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 19, West CR 1350N, east of North CR 300W, Milford. Driver: Tony A. Pryor, 32, Fort Wayne Road, Rochester. Pryor was traveling west on CR 1350N when a deer entered the roadway. Damage up to $10,000.
2:40 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 19, North CR 300E, near EMS T33 Lane, Warsaw. Drivers: Dominique S. Mabry, 53, Kehres Street, Elkhart; and Riley M. Turner, 17, North CR 450E, Leesburg. Mabry’s vehicle was entering an intersection when she entered Turner’s path of travel. No injuries were reported in the accident. Damage up to $10,000.
Fulton County
Officers with the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accidents:
7:55 a.m. Friday, Dec. 20, Meridian Road, Rochester. Drover: Donald Robin, no further information available. Robin drove into a parking space and struck a wall under a front window.
1:14 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 19, Elm Street, Rochester. Police were notified a car was hit in the alley by another vehicle.
Elkhart County
Officers with the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accident:
11:47 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 18, CR 42 and CR 27, south of Goshen. Drivers: Lorraine Carson, 71, North Webster; and James Phillips, 70, Granger. Carson complained of chest, hip and leg pain. Phillips suffered a broken right leg and hand pain. Both were taken to Goshen Hospital for non life threatening injuries. Carson’s vehicle went left of center and went into the southbound lane and hit Phillips’ vehicle head on. Carson was cited for driving left of center.
Marshall County
Officers with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accident:
3:50 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 19, SR 17, north of SR 8. Driver: Ronald Guy, 33, Knox; and unlisted driver of a Plymouth school bus. The school bus was being driven on its regular route and had stopped to let children off on SR 17, north of SR 8, when Guy’s vehicle collided with the back of the bus. Guy was transported to Plymouth Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. No passengers on the bus were injured.
