WARSAW — Kosciusko County American Bikers Aimed Toward Education (ABATE) donated $6,400 worth of toys and 31 bicycles to Combined Community Services Monday, Dec. 16.

This is the 31st year that Kosciusko ABATE has collected items for children in need during the holiday season. Kosciusko ABATE partners with the annual Toy Time event, which takes place at the Kosciusko County Fairgrounds. Toy Time Coordinator Ami Pitt reported that through the event this year they were able to provide assistance to  478 families, with 1,674 children receiving Christmas gifts and Bibles.

ABATE members purchased the bicycles. The toys were purchased by ABATE through donations and grants.
