WARSAW —  Recent organizational changes were implemented at Zimmer Biomet as part of the company’s continued improvement process to simplify the organization and accelerate decision making.

Several corporate positions were eliminated as a result of the realignment, the Warsaw-based orthopedic company said.

According to Monica Kendrick, vice-president of external communications, individuals whose positions were eliminated are receiving financial and career placement support.

The changes reportedly did not involve Zimmer Biomet’s manufacturing employees.

Some of the changes were announced this week, according to people who contacted InkFreeNews.

The company did not provide any details on how many employees were affected.
