Kosciusko County

Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office responded to the following accident:

6:57 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 5, North SR 13 near East CR 500N, North Manchester. Driver: Kay L. Promkehieo, 73, EMS W17 Lane, North Webster. Promkehio said she was driving north on SR13 when her vehicle left the roadway sticking a tree. She said she couldn’t remember what caused her vehicle to exit the roadway. She suffered minor bleeding to her elbow and lower arm. Damages up to $5,000.

Milford

Officers with the Milford Police Department responded to the following accident:

12:35 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 5, 1266 West CR 1250N near CR 60W, Milford. Driver: Marlene K. Bontrager, 29, West CR 1250N, Milford. Bontrager was driving her vehicle east on CR 1250N, looked down at her climate controls, looked up and realized she left the roadway colliding with a mailbox then a fence post. Damages up to $5,000.

Silver Lake

Officers with the Silver Lake Police Department responded to the following accident:

6:35 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 4, South SR 15 near CR 1300S, Sliver Lake. Driver: Edward W. Sorensen, 63, North CR 175E, Warsaw. Sorensen was driving his vehicle when a deer entered the roadway. Damages up to $2,500.

Warsaw

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department responded to the following accidents:

4:11 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 5, 2501 Walton Boulevard, Warsaw. Driver: Jeffrey D. Carey, 49, EMS T19 Lane, Leesburg. Carey was driving his vehicle out of a parking spot in the Warsaw Walmart parking lot when he turned sharply and collided with a parked unoccupied vehicle. Damages up to $5,000.

6:38 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 4, East US 30 near East Center Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Taiwo A. Bilesanmi, 26, Holiday Drive, Lansing, Mich.; Audrey M. Mazura, 28, East CR 800S, South Whitley; and Brianna Campell, 25, North CR 925E, North Webster. Bilesanmi was driving his vehicle east in the left lane of US 30 approaching the intersection at East Center Street. He said the traffic signal was green, but Mazura’s vehicle stopped in front of his vehicle. This caused the front center of Bilesami’s vehicle to collide with the rear of Mazura’s vehicle and the front Campbell’s vehicle collided with the rear of Bilesami’s vehicle. The passenger in Bilesami’s vehicle complained of leg pain and Campbell suffered minor bleeding on her face. Damages up to $10,000.
