Oodles Of Programming In December For Adults, Teens At WCPL

WARSAW _ The following programs are set to take place in December:

  • WorkOne computer and resume/interviewing classes. Contact the library for details. 
  • The 12th Annual Photography Contest runs through Dec. 14. Official rules may be found at warsawlibrary.org or by visiting the library. Entries may be submitted beginning Dec. 2. 
  • Cookbook Club meets at 11 am, Dec. 2 for the annual cookie exchange. Bring 6 dozen cookies, packaged in groups of 6. 
  • David Haney, The Piano Man, will perform holiday music at 6 p.m.  Dec. 2.  Please register. 
  • Drop in Zone, video games/VR is Dec. 4. Teens play 3:30-5:30 pm. Adults play 5:45-7:45 pm. Experience virtual reality from 10 a.m. to noon Dec.  27. Ages 13 and older. 
  • Do you Wanna Build a Snowman craft class is at 5:30 p.m. Dec. 4. Please register.  Chess Club meets from 10-1 p.m. every Saturday. 
  • Stencil a wood centerpiece box or tray at 10 a.m. Dec. 7. Several designs to choose from. Prices vary and due at registration prior to event. 
  • Friends of the Library mini book sale 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Dec. 7.
  • Writers Club meets at 6:30 p.m., Dec. 9. Topics: Holidays, Giving, and the Weather. Bring cookies to share. 
  • Where Does Your Money Go? Dec. 10 at 6 pm. Please register. 
  • Computer Clinic meets 10-11:30 a.m. Dec.  11. Bring your electronics for assistance. 
  • Paint a holiday scene on a vinyl LP at 5:30 pm, Dec. 11. Please register. Ages 13 and older. 
  • Chapter Chat Book Club meets at 1 p.m.  Dec. 12  to discuss “The Curious Charms of Arthur Pepper” by Phaedra Patrick. 
  • Quilt Club meets at 9:15 a.m., Dec. 13. 
  • Paint a gnome and/or truck ornament, Dec. 14 at 10:30 a.m. Prices vary and due at registration prior to event. 
  • Paint a winter scene with Carl Mosher at 5:30 p.m.  Dec. 16. The $20 fee is due at registration prior to event. Needle felt an angel Dec. 17 at 5 p.m.  The $20 fee is due at registration prior to event.
  • Warsaw Community High School Choir will sing Christmas carols on Dec. 18 at 9 am.
  • Teens can make bath bombs, ornaments, magnets and more, Dec. 19 at 4:30 p.m. Ages 13-17. Bingo at the library Dec. 20 from 2-3 pm. 
  • Family classic holiday movie, Dec. 23 at 10 a.m. Due to a contractual agreement, please visit warsawlibray.org or contact the library for title.
