Approximately $3,500 in cash, along with methamphetamine, was recovered by police in a narcotic arrest in Plymouth.

PLYMOUTH — Kosciusko County’s NET43 assisted Marshall County Officers and other agencies in an arrest of a South Bend man and the confiscation of methamphetamine on Monday, Nov. 25.

According to Marshall County Detective/1st Sgt. Jeff Snyder, Marshall County Officers conducted an operation at the Red Rock Inn Motel in Plymouth. During the operation, 448 grams or nearly 1 pound of methamphetamine was recovered.

Also recovered was about $3,500 in cash.

Romel Chambliss, 31, South Bend, was arrested and initially charged with dealing in methamphetamine, a level 2 felony.

Additional agencies assisting in the operation were Plymouth Police, Marshall County Police Department and Indiana State Police.

Close to a pound of methamphetamine was recovered by police.
