WARSAW — A Milford man received a suspended sentence on Monday, Nov. 25, for his involvement in a 2016 burglary.

Galen Wayne Miller, 27, 10898 N. CR 650W, Milford, was charged with burglary, a level 5 felony. A charge of theft was dismissed as part of a plea agreement.

On Nov. 15, 2016, an officer with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office spoke with two people about a burglary. According to court documents, the two people said someone forced open their residence’s front patio window and stole an XBox One, a 48-inch Vizio television and cash. The total value of items stolen was approximately $1,220.

On Dec. 9, 2016, it was later discovered that four people burglarized the residence. Miller was one of the people who entered the residence and stole items. Miller split the stolen cash with one of the other alleged burglars.

Kosciusko County Circuit Court Judge Michael Reed sentenced Miller to three years at the Indiana Department of Corrections, with all of the sentence suspended on formal probation.
