North Webster

Officers with the North Webster Police Department Investigated the following accident:

7:31 a.m. Monday, Nov. 25, West North Street near North Main Street, North Webster. Drivers: Jared A. Beer, 47, East Creekside Trail, Syracuse; and Matthew A. Hilty, 40, CR 3, Nappanee. Hilty was driving south on Main Street when he slowed in traffic and the front of Beer’s vehicle collided with the rear of Hilty’s vehicle. Damages up to $25,000.

Warsaw

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department responded to the following accident:

4:38 p.m. Monday, Nov. 25, SR 25 near South Zimmer Road, Warsaw. Drivers: Kensey L. Nieveen, 26, East Old Road 30, Warsaw; and Erin N. Jones, 43, West CR 250W, Warsaw. Nieveen was driving her vehicle west on SR 25 and approached stopping traffic. She said her traction control light turned on and she wasn’t able to stop before the front of her vehicle collided with the rear of Jones’ vehicle. Damages up to $2,500.

Winona Lake

Officers with the Winona Lake Police Department responded to the following accident:

12:25 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 24, Southtown Drive near Roy Street, Winona Lake. Drivers: Keegan A. Brown, 18, South Packerton Road, Winona Lake; and Karen F. Erba, 50, Roy Street, Winona Lake. Brown was in his vehicle stopped at a stop sign at the entrance of Southtown Estates. He saw Erba’s vehicle rounding the corner off of Roy Street. He thought he had enough time to turn left before Erba’s vehicle got to the intersection. His vehicle collided with Erba’s at a 90-degree angle. Damages up to $5,000.
