
PLYMOUTH GIRLS 38, TRITON 22
In a familiar scoreline for these two teams, Plymouth won the defensive struggle at the Rock. The Lady Pilgrims forced 20 turnovers and outrebounded Triton 27-22 to claim the win.
Clare Sheedy had 10 points to pace Plymouth. Kinsey Atkins had eight points and a pair of steals to lead Triton.
LAKEWOOD PARK GIRLS 56, LCA 26
LPC pitched a shutout in the second quarter, which sparked a big third quarter to blow past LCA. LPC held LCA scoreless in the second quarter, building a 21-7 lead at the half, then worked over a 20-8 third quarter to spread out the lead.
Chloe Jolloff led all scorers with 23 points and Taylor Gerke added 11 points. LCA had Jessi Calizo, Tori Calizo and Natalie Norris all finish with six points, the three combining for 25 rebounds.
WAWASEE 6TH GRADE BOYS 38, WEST NOBLE 14
The ‘A’ team took care of business in a good defensive effort, led by Nolan Holzwart’s four steals, Max Taylor’s five blocks and Bo Brunner’s five rebounds. The ‘B’ team from Wawasee won 10-6. Julian Dixon had five rebounds to lead the Warriors.
LAKEVIEW 8TH GRADE BOYS 40, CRESTVIEW 37
Leyton Isbell hit a three with one second left to lift Lakeview to a win. Isbell finished with 19 points to lead the Tigers while Julian Saldivar had 10 points and eight assists.
TIPPECANOE VALLEY 6TH GRADE BOYS 38, ROCHESTER 28
Grady Moriarty scored 13 points to lead Valley in its first game of the season. William Mellott chipped in seven points. The Rochester ‘B’ team won its game against Valley, 28-10.
