Shrine Club Raises More Than $10,000 In Annual Turkey Shoot

WARSAW — Over 1,000 shooters participated and more than $10,000 was raised during the annual two-day Shrine Turkey Shoot. Family entertainment was had by all at the event, including parents, children and grandchildren.

During the event, Curtis Drake won a .410 youth shotgun and Darrell Moore won a Marlin 1894 .44 rifle.

The Shrine Club thanks its sponsors who made the event successful through their donations. Two Bear Arms contributed a gift of a .410 youth shotgun to the Shrine Club and local shooting sports for youth. Ladies of the Shrine prepared and served food, while also coordinating the event’s silent auction, said a press release.

The Kosciusko County Shrine Club also thanks the Sons of the American Legion Squadron #49 for donating $500 directly to the Shrine Children’s Hospital. The Shrine Club also thanks all of its members who gave their time and talents to make the event successful.
