WARSAW — The Downtown Christmas Countdown & Ornament Smash Kick-off event will take place from 5-8 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 1^, at the Courthouse Square in Warsaw.

Participating merchants will be open from 4-7 p.m. to start the countdown —  25 days until Christmas —  and light the 20’ tree at 7:30 p.m. 

Santa will arrive by helicopter. 

The event will feature live music by Pickslide, Christmas carols by the Morning Optimist Singers, intercultural lighting ceremonies, ‘Make it and Take it’ crafts for children at Mad Anthony’s, hot chocolate and toasted s’mores.
