Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office responded to the following accidents:

6:54 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 12, East CR 1300N near North CR 150E, Milford. Driver: James L. Bartman, West Waubee Road, Milford. Bartman’s vehicle slid off the road and struck a fence. Damages up to $5,000.

4:54 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 12, North CR 700W near West CR 100 N, Atwood. Driver: Patrick S. Kelley, 47, South CR 650W, Warsaw. Kelley was driving when a deer entered the roadway. Damages up to $10,000.

4:32 p.m. Monday, Nov. 11, West CR 400N near North CR 150W, Warsaw. Driver: Emily Escapule, North CR 500W, Warsaw. Escapule’s vehicle slid off the road and collided with a mailbox. Damages up to $2,500.

3:57 p.m. Monday, Nov. 11, South SR 15 near West CR 550S, Claypool. Drivers: Zachary D. Huffman, 21, North Knight CIR, Marion; and Stephanie M. Overbey, 44, South CR 675 W, Silver Lake. Huffman was unable to stop his vehicle for slowing traffic causing his vehicle to collide with the rear of Overbey’s vehicle. Damages up to $2,500.

3:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 11, North CR 200E near East Armstrong Road, Leesburg. Drivers: Chase A. Zawadzki, 18, East Forest Glen Avenue, Leesburg; and Chris M. Osborn, 56, EMS C27C Lane, Warsaw. Zawadzki was driving his vehicle north on CR 200E when he lost control of his vehicle. His vehicle was spinning the road when Osborn’s southbound vehicle collided with the passenger side door area. Damages up to $25,000.

3:29 p.m. Monday, Nov. 11, North SR 15 near West CR 1350N, Milford. Driver: Jonathon G. Threesh, 30, Pike Shore Drive, Warsaw. Threesh’s vehicle slide of the road into a bridge guardrail. Damages up to $5,000.

1:24 p.m. Monday, Nov. 11, East Cornelius Road near North East Shore Drive, Syracuse. Driver: Amanda M. Reese, 39, North Elm Grove Drive, Syracuse. Reese lost control of her vehicle, slid off the road and collided with a tree. Damages up to $5,000.

12:48 p.m. Monday, Nov. 11, East CR 1300N near North 175E, Milford. Driver: Michelle L. Kemp, 49, South East Street, Milford. Kemp was driving her vehicle when it slid on the snow/slush causing her vehicle to collide with a utility pole on the driver’s side door. Kemp complained of pain in her left hip. Her passenger, Lavon D. Kemp, 50, South East Street, Milford, complained of pain in his shoulder/upper arm. Damages up to $10,000.

6:30 p.m Sunday, Nov. 10, North SR 13 near East CR 400 N, North Webster. Driver: Devin A. Guesnon, 22, Nisqualli Road, Victorville, Calif. Guesnon was driving his vehicle when a deer entered the roadway. Damages up to $5,000.

9:54 p.m. Friday, Nov. 8, US 30 near North Fox Farm Road, Warsaw. Driver: Jennifer L. Miller, 39, Chatfield Drive, Highland Park, Ill. Miller was driving his vehicle when a deer entered the roadway. Damages up to $10,000.

6:03 p.m. Friday, Nov. 8, West US 30 near North CR 350W, Warsaw. Driver: Sunil Babu, 47, Inverness Lakes Trail, Fort Wayne. Babu was driving his vehicle when a deer entered the roadway. Damages up to $5,000.

2:53 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 5, North CR 800W near West CR 900W, Nappanee. Driver: Jeremy J. Rush, 39, West CR 1250 S, Akron. Rush was driving his vehicle south on CR 800W at the intersection of CR 900N when his vehicle collided with an eastbound horse-drawn buggy. Damages up to $25,000.

Milford

Officers with the Milford Police Department responded to the following accidents:

10:09 p.m. Monday, Nov. 11, CR 1300N near CR 100E, Milford. Driver: Jonathan B. Edwards, 40, North Main Street, Syracuse. Edwards vehicle slid off the road and struck a utility pole head-on. He suffered abrasions to his face. Damages up to $10,000.

1:29 p.m. Monday, Nov. 11, CR 1300N near CR 175E, Milford. Driver: Julia A. Henry, 63, North Camelot Drive, Milford. Henry was driving her vehicle west on CR 1300 N when her car slid off the roadway into a fence. Damages up to $1,000.

North Webster

Officers with the North Webster Police Department Investigated the following accidents:

11:59 p.m. Monday, Nov. 11, East CR 900N near North SR 13, Syracuse. Driver: Janelle M. Jennings, 48, East Backwater Road, North Webster. Jenning’s vehicle slid off the road into a ditch. Damages up to $2,500.

4:23 p.m. Monday, Nov. 11, East CR 500N near North CR 675W, North Webster. Driver: Joseph L. Sunday, 50, EMS T13 Lane, Leesburg. Sunday was driving his vehicle when it slid off the roadway, striking pole guide wires and flipping the vehicle on to its left side. A breath alcohol test was administered at the scene, he failed after registering a breath alcohol level of .125%. Damages up to $10,000.

Pierceton

Officers with the Pierceton Police Department responded to the following accident:

6:48 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 7, US 30 near Arnolt Drive, Pierceton. Driver: Donald W. Gross, 64, 9th Road, Plymouth. Gross was driving his vehicle when a deer entered the roadway. Damages up to $25,000.

Syracuse

Officers with the Syracuse Police Department responded to the following accidents:

11:59 a.m. Monday, Nov. 11, East CR 1000 N near North Syracuse Webster Road, Syracuse. Driver: Taylor J. Shepherd, 19, West Jefferson Street, Bourbon. Shepherd’s vehicle slid off the road into a ditch. Damages up to $1000.

9:46 a.m. Monday, Nov. 11, North Main Street near West Railroad Avenue, Warsaw. Driver: Juliane Hirsch, 47, East CR 1300N, Syracuse. Hirsch was driving her vehicle when she slid through the stop sign into the intersection colliding with a second vehicle that left the scene. Damages up to $10,000.

Warsaw

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department responded to the following accidents:

6:33 p.m. Monday, Nov. 11, US 30 near 090 Ramp E, Warsaw. Driver: Jennifer A. Walters, 41, Tippecanoe Drive A2, Warsaw. Walters’ vehicle lost traction on the on-ramp to US 30 causing her vehicle to collide with the concrete barrier. Damages up to $5,000.

4:16 p.m. Monday, Nov. 11, Husky Trail near Mariners Drive, Warsaw. Drivers: Martin G. Donofrio, Priority Place, Indianapolis; and Genaro Z. Cacahua, 40, North CR 175E 67, Warsaw. Donofrio was unable to stop in slowing traffic causing his vehicle to collide with the rear of Cacahua’s vehicle. Damages up to $5,000.

3:54 p.m. Monday, Nov. 11, Mariners Drive near Husky Trail, Warsaw. Drivers: Amanda L. Burkett, 31, West Old Road 30 672, Warsaw; and Thomas F. Flenner, 67, North Runkle Drive Warsaw. Burkett’s vehicle collided with the rear of Flenner’s vehicle at the yield sign at the roundabout near Husky Trail and Mariners Drive. Damages up to $5,000.

1:08 p.m. Monday, Nov. 11, Lake City Highway near Meijer Drive, Warsaw. Driver: Arlinda F. Campbell, 49, Anthony Avenue, Country Club Hills, Ill. Campbell was driving west on Lake City Highway when her car slid off the roadway, hitting a guardrail. Damages up to $10,000.

12:10 p.m. Monday, Nov. 11, 650 West CR 350N, Warsaw. Drivers: Kelly M. Elliot, 28, SR 331, Bourbon; and Samantha Harshman, 33, West CR 1000N, Roann. Elliot’s vehicle slid on the TJ Maxx access road. She still attempted to make a right turn, did not see Harshman’s vehicle coming from the north. The front side of her vehicle collided with the front of Harshman’s vehicle. Damages up to $5,000.

6:08 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 10, East US 30 near Springhill Road, Warsaw. Drivers: Jared R. Miller, 27, West Pleasant Home Road, West Salem, OH; William D. Waterman, 44, North Wells Street, Fort Wayne; and Jackie Hser, 27, Fairfield Avenue, Fort Wayne. Miller was driving his vehicle east on US 30. He did not realize traffic stopped causing his vehicle to collide with the rear of Waterman’s vehicle and Hser’s vehicle to collide with the rear of Miller’s vehicle. Damages up to $10,000.

4:48 p.m. Friday, Nov. 8, North Parker Street near Walter Way, Warsaw. Driver: Steven L. Curtis, 60, East CR 300N, Rochester; and Steven E. Breeden, 53, Widamen Street, Winona Lake. Curtis was driving his vehicle south on Parker Street when he hit his brakes causing a collision with Breeden who was riding his bicycle southbound on Parker Street. Breeden suffered minor cuts on his knee. Damages up to $2,500.

12:58 p.m. Friday, Nov. 8, Lake City Highway near East Center Street, Warsaw. Driver: Leon D. Blalark, 45, East Golf Road 4, Arlington Heights, Ill. Blalark was driving his semi north on Center Street the construction area on US 30 to turn left. He turned at a high rate of speed in the construction area and flipped his semi causing it to roll over on its right side. He suffered minor bleeding on his elbow/lower arm. Damages up to $5,000.

12:06 p.m. Friday, Nov. 8, 1200 Lake City Highway, Warsaw. Drivers: Jessica N. Snell, 28, Sophie Lane, Warsaw; and Melissa P. Baker, 44, North SR 13, Syracuse. Snell backed her vehicle into Baker’s vehicle in the Meijer parking lot. Damages up to $10,000.

Fulton County

Officers with the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accidents:

8:19 a.m. Friday, Nov. 8, CR 100W and CR 650N. Driver: Morgan A. Kegarise, 18, Rochester. Kegarise’s vehicle struck a horse-and-buggy. Horse-and-buggy left the scene after exchanging information. No injuries, minor damage to the vehicle.

3:18 a.m. Friday, Nov. 8, US 31 and CR 600N. Driver: Octavio Gomez, 53, Plymouth. Hit deer.

8:07 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 7, US 31 and CR 375N. Driver: Kress L. Koster, 49, Muskegon, Mich. Semitractor/trailer hit deer.

6:45 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 7, US 31 and CR 100N, Rochester. Driver: Jerry W. Liggett, 78, Carmel. Hit deer.

8:17 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 6, CR 100N, between CR 300 and CR 400. Driver: James Hobbs. No further information was available. Hit deer.
