Kosciusko County
Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accident:
11:52 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 9, West Old Road 30, west of North Riverwood Ranch Road, Warsaw. Driver: Karen J. Raber, 25, South Summit Street, Nappanee. Raber was traveling east on Old Road 30 when a deer entered the roadway. Damage up to $5,000.
Milford
Officers with the Milford Police Department investigated the following accidents:
2:36 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 7, CR 100E, south of CR 1400N, Milford. Driver: Gene E. Hochstetler, 65, CR 20, Fayette, OH. Hochstetler was traveling south on CR 100E when he fell asleep. This caused his vehicle to go into a ditch and strike a residence’s landscaping and mailbox at 13720 N. CR 100E. The property is owned by Patrick A. Fraley. Damage up to $100,000.
6:34 p.m. Monday, Nov. 4, North SR 15, south of West CR 1350N, Milford. Driver: Sandra Y. Carbone, 69, Westmoor Parkway, Goshen. Carbone was traveling south on North SR 15 when a deer struck her vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:
4:12 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 10, East Market Street, near Indiana Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Rhonda S. Gibson, 49, East Wooster Road 59, Pierceton; and Jessie L. Savant, 78, West Winona Avenue, Warsaw. Gibson was traveling west on Market Street and was approaching the intersection of Indiana Street when she rear-ended Savant’s vehicle. No injuries were reported in the accident. Damage up to $10,000.
12:32 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 10, Eastlake Drive, near Frontage Road, Warsaw. Drivers: Virginia M. Wolf, 68, Center Street, Grafton, OH; and Hailee L. Blackburn, 26, Loher Lane, Warsaw. Wolf was traveling west on Frontage Road when she stopped her vehicle at the traffic signal. She began to pull her vehicle forward when she struck Blackburn’s vehicle. No injuries were reported in the accident. Damage up to $10,000.
6:06 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 7, South Scott Street, near East Market Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Matthew A. Zartman, 18, Oak Brook Place, Warsaw; and April E. Slone, 18, South CR 700W, Burket. Zartman was traveling south on Scott Street when he entered the intersection and struck Slone’s vehicle. This caused Slone’s vehicle to go up onto a curb, striking a fire hydrant. No injuries were reported in the accident. Damage up to $10,000.
Winona Lake
Officers with the Winona Lake Police Department investigated the following accident:
5:10 p.m. Friday, Nov. 8, Rupe Drive, south of College Avenue, Winona Lake. Drivers: Mackenzie L. Martz, 19, Apple Court, Winona Lake; and Julie A. Owens, 35, Huffman Street, Winona Lake. Martz was traveling south on College Avenue when Owens attempted to leave a parking lot. As she did so, she struck Martz’s vehicle. Damage up to $2,500.
