SYRACUSE — Tips from the public led to another NET43 investigation and the arrest of four people Thursday night, Nov. 7.

Austin Leasure

Investigators began receiving tips about activity at a home in the Syracuse area. Undercover detectives eventually made controlled purchases of methamphetamine from people living at 4484 East 1300N in Syracuse, according to a news release issued Friday night from the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office.

Additionally, traffic stops were made on vehicles connected to the residence, bolstering a case that drug deals were happening at the address. This allowed investigators to seek a search warrant that was then executed Thursday night with the assistance of the Kosciusko County SWAT Team, the news release said.

Among those arrested: John Christian, 70; Phillip Christian, 44, Austin Leasure, 22, and Leslie Patrick, 40 all of whom reside at 4484 E. 1300 N. in Syracuse.
