SOUTH BEND — Veterans Day is Monday.

South Shore Line is offering free transportation this weekend from November 8-11 to active duty military personnel and veterans. They want to show veterans gratitude for all they have done for our nation.

All you need to do is let train personnel know you’re active military personnel. No ticket purchase or identification is required!

As a reminder, up to three children, 13 years of age and under, may ride free with each veteran on all daily off-peak, weekend and holiday trains.
