WARSAW — The city of Warsaw has provided a fresh update on five road projects still underway.

Here’s a quick recap provided by city Plan Director Jeremy Skinner:

  • Officials hope the intersection project at Center and Buffalo streets will wrap up this week. New traffic poles were installed about 10 days ago. Concrete still needs to be poured around the four corners of the intersection. The estimated cost of the project is $528,000. The contractor is Michiana Contracting, of Plymouth.
  • Phase two of the Market Street reconstruction is all but complete. A final “walk through” with the contractor, Phend & Brown, Milford, is expected this week on the $1.7 million project.
  • The CR 300N project, which includes a roundabout at Shelden Street, has been slowed by utility issues. The city will re-open the road this winter, but the project will wrap up next spring. Cost of the project is roughly $1.8 million.
  • North Pointe Drive, a major sidewalk and project just west of Husky Trail, is within a few weeks of completion. Phend & Brown is the contractor for the estimated $600,000 project.
  • INDOT’s patchwork on US 30 has reached Warsaw. It began at SR 19 and will continue moving eastward past Warsaw and conclude just to the west of Pierceton. The city is posting updates on the project on its Facebook page.
