PACKERTON — A camper fire in Packerton around midnight Tuesday left one man dead.

Fire fully engulfed a small camper trailer, which was located next to a mobile home at 8031 S. Thomas Drive, a block east of Packerton Road.

Kosciusko County Coroner Tony Ciriello confirmed a man died in the fire, but was not ready to release the name of the victim.

The camper was completely destroyed. The fire was discovered around midnight.
